Anguilla is a British overseas territory and is one of the most northly of the Leeward islands. Off the beaten track, pristine and unspoilt, but is also within easy reach. The island’s main gateways are Antigua, St.Maarten/Martin and Puerto Rico.
Antigua provides easy access from Europe with daily scheduled flights provided by British Airways and Virgin. Routes are also available with American and Canadian carriers. LIAT provides a daily connecting flight into Anguilla Wallblake Airport (AXA) or private air charters are also available.
St. Maarten/Martin, Princess Juliana airport (SXM) is a major, fully refurbished transport hub for the region. There are daily schedule flights from Europe (Air France/KLM and Corsair) and also flights from the US with both scheduled and charter carriers (AA, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, United etc) and also Canada (Air Canada, Air Transat). From Juliana, you can take a 7 minute flight into Anguilla’s Wallblake with Anguilla Air Services or charter your own flight.
Ferry taxi from St Martin to Anguilla. The scheduled ferry from the French capital, Marigot departs every 30 mins and takes approx. 20 minutes to reach the Blowing Point, ferry terminal in Anguilla. Charter boats are also available.
From Puerto Rico, Anguilla is just a one hour flight via American Eagle/American Airlines, Anguilla Air Express or Cape Air, all of which offer
a daily scheduled service into Wallblake Airport.
